ABOUT ME
Digital analyst, developer, and lifelong learner based in Brno.
The Story

I was born in the coldest village in Slovakia, where winter teaches you patience early. My first taste of code came in 2014 with Imagine Logo at school. Visual blocks, turtle graphics, and the "I made the computer do a thing" moment that never wore off.
By 2018, enough late nights with HTML, CSS, and PHP had convinced me I already knew everything. I didn't. That year I shipped my first commercial WordPress build. When COVID hit, quarantine turned into a Flutter bootcamp of one: I learned Dart, built a demo, and that demo landed me my first corporate Flutter role.
Moving to Brno for university opened a different door. At a UX agency, a mentor introduced me to web analytics, and the overlap of code, data, and human behaviour clicked instantly. I implemented measurement for enterprise clients, ran one project as PM, and grew across the full marketing stack: GA4, GTM, BigQuery, Looker Studio, with AI in the loop.
Two years into Computer Science I transferred to Information Studies at the same university, because programming without context is just code. Today I'm freelance, studying both fields in parallel, and starting to take what I learn onto the conference stage.
Connecting the dots
First taste of code
My very first line (not really a line) in Imagine Logo at school. Visual blocks, turtle graphics, but the "I made the computer do a thing" moment landed hard.
WordPress, for real
After grinding through HTML, CSS, and PHP, convinced I already knew everything (I didn't), I shipped my first commercial WordPress build.
Flutter & mobile dev
Dived into cross-platform app development with Flutter/Dart. Built and shipped small apps, learning to think in components and state.
UX agency & analytics pivot
Moved to Brno for university. Joined a UX agency where a mentor opened my eyes to web analytics, the intersection of data, UX, and business.
Enterprise clients & PM
Led analytics implementations for Kentico, KD, and others. Grew into a project manager role, owning the full technical marketing stack.
Freelance & KISK
Went independent. Simultaneously enrolled in CS and Information Studies at KISK, combining technical depth with information science context.
What I Believe In
Data with context
The answer is 42, but only if you asked the right question first. Numbers without narrative are noise. Every metric needs a so-what, a clear thread back to a decision someone is actually going to make.
No bullshit policy
When I pick a tool or commit to a delivery, it ships at the highest quality I can pull off. I've seen too many people sell services they can't technically back. That's not me, and it never will be.
Privacy by default
GDPR-first, even when the brief is loose. Cleaner consent, fewer dark patterns, safer data. Better for the user, and almost always better for the business too.
Off the clock
What I think about when I'm not thinking about analytics.
FC Barcelona & football analytics
Long-time Barça fan. Football analytics is actually what first pulled me into data: xG, pass maps, and pressing stats before I ever opened GA.
Chess
FIDE rapid 1592 over the board. Once peaked around 2000 on Lichess (probably a fluke, but I'll take it). I like positions where one quiet move flips the evaluation.
Ping pong
Casual but competitive. The closest you get to live A/B testing: every rally is a new hypothesis about your opponent.
Photography
Picked it up in 2025 with a Canon R100. Basic mirrorless, learning the fundamentals: light, framing, patience. I'm getting better one walk at a time.
Fascinated by China
Language, history, food, and the tech ecosystem. I read about it constantly, a reminder that the Western internet is one bubble, not the whole map.
Random fun fact
I was born in the coldest village in Slovakia. I love random trivia like this and collect it constantly. Ask me about anything obscure, there's a decent chance I have an opinion.
Did I convince you yet?
Got a project that needs clean analytics, a reliable implementation, or just a second opinion? I'd love to hear about it.
